Barbara S.
Schwartzberg, M.D.,
FACS Dr. Schwartzberg received her undergraduate degree in
Chemistry at Franklin And Marshall College in Lancaster,
Pennsylvania. She then went on to receive her M.S. in Chemistry from
Purdue University in Indiana. She attended George Washington School
of Medicine in Washington D.C. for her medical degree. Her internship
, surgical residency, and pediatric transplant fellowship were
completed at the University of Colorado in Denver. Her
interest include breast disease and the ABBI biopsy
system. She is considered an
international expert in this technique. She has taken many laparoscopic courses,
including
one with Dr. Alfred Cuschieri at the University of Dundee in
Scotland. In addition to laparoscopic surgery, Dr. Schwartzberg
specializes in varicose vein treatment.
Dr. Schwartzberg was recently appointed to Chief of
Medical Staff at Rose Medical Center. She will continue to practice
surgery in addition to the responsibilities of her new position.
Barbara and her husband live in Evergreen, where they love
to get out and enjoy running, cycling, and hiking every chance they
get. She is also rumored to be a gourmet chef!

Joyce
A. Moore, M.D .Dr. Moore receive her
undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Stanford University in
Stanford, California. In her last summer of school, she
participated in hemorrhagic shock research at Queens Medical Center in
Honolulu, Hawaii. She then moved to the University of Colorado School of
Medicine for her medical degree, where she also completed her internship
and surgical residency.
Dr. Moore has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery
in which she attended advanced courses in suturing techniques. She
has trained in minimal invasive spinal exposure surgery and has also
learned the ABBI system for treatment of breast lesions. Endocrine
surgery is another specialty of hers.
Joyce, her husband, and two daughters live in Greenwood
Village. She loves volleyball playing at Stanford University, and in local
tournaments. She also horseback rides and loves to travel.
